Welcome to Veterinary Emergency Service

As a pet owner or animal lover, in all honesty, you'd probably prefer never having to visit us at all. That would mean that your pet was completely healthy and you were perfectly content seeing your family veterinarian for regularly scheduled appointments. And you know what? We'd be happy about that too because we're pet owners and animal lovers as well.

However, if that day or night ever does come, when your pet is in need of emergency or critical care, it's comforting to know that everyone at Veterinary Emergency Service (VES) is dedicated to giving your pet uncompromising care when it's injured or ill.

It's somewhat like Band Aids. You hope you never have need for them, but it's always good to know where they are just in case. And now you know that we're here for you and your pet 24 hours a day.

In The Blink Of An Eye

In the blink of an eye, we were jolted into a reality that we could not control. Our beloved Labrador, Bella, was lying on our kitchen floor and we knew something was terribly wrong. We called our vet, Dr. Michael Luethner, at PetCare Clinic. He advised us to get Bella in as soon as possible. Little did we know what was yet to come. After x-rays, it was determined that Bella had a ruptured spleen and a huge tumor (that had a 67% chance of being malignant). She was bleeding internally. We were advised that surgery was her only hope. Those hours of waiting were terrifying.
