If your pet has ingested a foreign object or substance DO NOTHING until you have contacted your regular vet, one of the emergency clinics or one of the pet poison hotlines. Some chemicals are very caustic and can cause more damage if the pet is made to vomit. Like wise some will not react well with such things like milk or antacids. In addition, some objects may go down easily but may not vomit easily, leading to a blocked airway.
